Small kitesurf spot on Lac de la Ramée, a leisure lake on the outskirts of Toulouse (Tournefeuille, 31), 13 km south-west of the city centre. The lake is mainly a supervised swimming and leisure area. Wind sports are practised here as a fallback when conditions elsewhere are too extreme — particularly when the Autan or Tramontane are too strong on the larger regional spots (Ganguise, Montbel). Access from Tournefeuille, Chemin de Larramet. Wind reference: Toulouse-Blagnac station.
Intermediate
Open all year round
Small lake with very inconsistent wind — the Tramontane weakens significantly before reaching Toulouse and the Autan comes in gusty. Wind quality is poor compared to other spots in the region. The lake has a designated swimming area (supervised July–August) — stay clear of swimmers. This is primarily a fallback spot when other regional spots are too extreme.
Tramontane (NW) and Autan (SE/E) are the two main wind systems that can generate rideable conditions here, but both arrive weakened and gusty by the time they reach this inland lake near Toulouse. Conditions are inconsistent — wind can drop or shift unpredictably. This is a convenience spot, not a destination.
