Overview

La Lagune is a kitesurf spot on the Côte d'Argent (Gironde/Landes border), south of the Bassin d'Arcachon near Biscarrosse. The ocean beach here faces west on the open Atlantic, catching the dominant South-West to North-West Atlantic winds along this straight sandy coastline.

Ocean spot with Atlantic waves. This stretch of the Côte d'Argent is part of one of the longest straight sandy beaches in Europe. Strong currents and powerful shorebreak possible. Good surfing and kitesurfing conditions with consistent swell and wind.
