An essential snowkite spot, Font d'Urle offers about 300 hectares of freeride terrain in a unique setting, with north and south wind patterns fed by the Rhone Valley. Altitude: 1500m-1700m. Terrain: plateaus, valleys... No approach hike except in south wind. Level: beginner to advanced (check the FFVL-designated zones and site hazards). Warning: cliffs on the north side of the plateau as well as sinkholes. FFVL-certified site.
The road is cleared of snow all the way to Font d'Urle resort. You can start directly from the car.
