Overview

Maresol is a kitesurf spot on the west coast of Corsica, south of Ajaccio (Corse-du-Sud). This beach near the Gulf of Ajaccio benefits from the dominant Libeccio (SW-W wind) and also from north-westerly winds that blow down the coast.

Clear turquoise water and fine sandy beach. The mountains behind provide some shelter but also create thermal effects that can make wind gusty. Good spot for summer sessions.
