Overview

Bassin d'Arcachon - Les Arbousiers is a kitesurf spot on the inner shore of the Bassin d'Arcachon (Gironde), on the east side of the bay near the town of Arcachon. This sheltered tidal bay catches South-West, West-South-West, West, West-North-West and North-West winds that penetrate into the basin from the open Atlantic coast.

Tidal spot — the Bassin d'Arcachon has a significant tidal range and large tidal flats (les landes). Flat water conditions inside the bay. Be aware of boat traffic, oyster farm stakes, and the many other activities on the basin. A popular spot for learning and flat-water riding in the Arcachon area.
