Bayshore is a spot on Cooking Lake, southeast of Edmonton, at 735 m altitude. The lake is part of the Cooking Lake-Blackfoot Natural Area. Modest but accessible water body (30 min from Edmonton). NW and SE prairie winds work well. Season from June to September.
Shallow fresh water. Temperature of 19-22°C in summer. Muddy bottom. Light to moderate chop. Protected natural area — respect the environment.
