Snowkite spot at Les Fourgs in the Haut-Doubs (25), Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, at 1080 m altitude. Village situated on a wide, open plateau just below the Metabief ski area and near the Swiss border. The flat terrain and open fields make it an accessible and beginner-friendly snowkite spot. Good snowfall most winters. Nordic ski infrastructure nearby.

Works with South-West, West and North-East winds. The open plateau allows relatively consistent wind. South-West dominant in winter. North-East "bise" gives excellent conditions when established.
Check snow conditions before heading out. Respect snowmobile and cross-country ski trails. High plateau exposed to sudden weather changes and cold temperatures. Never venture out in poor visibility.
