This is a wing and wind spot (kitesurfing is only allowed at Hourtin on this lake) which gives access to a beautiful and large body of water. Launch from the long sandy beach that stretches from the village of Maubuisson to the canal. Most people start from the eastern end of the beach.
Some shallow areas should be avoided when foiling depending on the water level.
The spot works with north winds.
In summer, there is often a north thermal wind of 12-15 knots in the late afternoon.
