You need to set up your gear north of the surfers after the blockhaus (north of the spot), or at the south of the spot. Explanatory signs are visible near the lifeguard station before reaching the beach from the parking lot.
No tide restrictions, the beach is huge.

Open all year round
On Google Maps search for "Surf parking la torche 1", just behind the dune on the land side. 2 minutes walk from the parking lot.
The parking lot has no height barrier.
You can also walk along the beach from La Torche beach but it takes about 15/20 min.
You need to see where the surfers are to avoid disturbing them. Swimmers are less common. Generally, by positioning yourself at the north of the spot, you'll be fine.
