Overview

Arcachon - Petit Port is a kitesurf spot on the Bassin d'Arcachon (Gironde), on the Arcachon town waterfront. This inner basin spot catches South-West to North-West winds in the sheltered bay. Flat water conditions typical of the inner basin.

Tidal spot. The Arcachon waterfront is a busy tourist and nautical area — respect designated zones and navigation rules. Heavy boat traffic in summer. A convenient urban spot in one of France's most famous seaside resorts.
