Plage du Betey is a FFVL-approved kitesurf spot on the Bassin d'Arcachon (Gironde), beside the port of Andernos-les-Bains. The wide shallow area at low tide makes it ideal for beginners and learning. The site is usable approximately 2 hours before and after high tide depending on tidal coefficient.

Best winds are East, South-East and South. Note significant wind shadow from the NW when the sea breeze blows. Isolated unmarked hazards (concrete mooring blocks) exist underwater. Avoid peak summer months due to heavy beach use. Many moored boats in summer. Access via Avenue de la République in Andernos, turn at the marina and follow the east dyke.
