Andernos-les-Bains is a kitesurf spot on the north shore of the Bassin d'Arcachon, facing south towards the bay. The sheltered position gives flat water ideal for learning and foiling in light wind. Northwest and west winds are most reliable on summer afternoons. A good family spot in a pleasant town setting.
