Overview

Lacanau-Océan is a kitesurf spot on the Gironde Atlantic coast, one of the most famous surf destinations in France. The beach receives dominant west and northwest winds and powerful Atlantic swell. Several kite sessions are possible in summer with thermal north wind. A demanding open ocean spot for intermediate to advanced riders.
