Asnelles is a kitesurf spot on the Côte de Nacre (Calvados), in the famous D-Day landing area between Arromanches and Ver-sur-Mer (Gold Beach sector). The north-facing beach is exposed to the dominant onshore winds from North and North-West directions.
Tidal spot with a sandy beach. This stretch of coast is historically significant as a WWII landing beach — a remarkable setting for kitesurfing. Good access with parking. Respect designated swimming and activity zones during the summer season.
