No technical zone, water start only! No particular problems with southeast wind or summer thermal (west). The thermal often dies down around 4pm, be careful not to linger too far offshore. The channel is marked and reserved, but quite used by other users (swimmers, surfers, divers).
FFVL certified spot.
Parking is along the street by the water (Corniche du Liouquet).
Open all year round
Advanced
South 15/20 knots.
Non-existent technical zone (from a mound at the roadside). You arrive on site with inflated struts, clear and connected lines, inflate the leading edge on a mat, unwind lines from the mound, start with feet in the water. Booties mandatory to avoid attracting sharks, water entry one at a time. Whoever wants to land has priority. Be careful to have the kite well inflated and not too much at the edge of the window for a quick setup, the parapet and road are not far, never keep your kite at zenith. The wind is very gusty as soon as there's north in it (east/northeast, west/northwest). Recognized surf spot, the Baumette point is taken over by surfers on sea breeze days, fortunately in summer waves are rare. Some swimmers also in the channel, but they were there before us, hard to tell them swimming is prohibited. Many rocks, so some spearfishers in the channel too, especially when the sea is not too rough.
