Lacanau-Océan Super Sud is a FFVL-approved kitesurf spot on the Atlantic coast of Lacanau (Gironde). This is the main dedicated kite zone at Lacanau-Océan, located at the southern end of the resort. In summer, a 200m technical zone is marked between two checkered flags, with a 1km navigation zone south of the first flag. By municipal and prefectural order, only kitesurfing is permitted in the kite zone in summer.

Ocean spot with waves and strong current. The NW/SW sea breeze (12-20 knots) is typical. Be careful not to drift too far when the wind is due north — returning to shore can be difficult. Surfers, swimmers and beach users share the beach despite the reservation. Follow the pinède path to the last parking access (beside the ONF barrier).
